Oishi Day at Tsujiki Outer Market

Another rainy day yet another adventure we had in Tokyo! This time around was Tsujiki Outer Market. The initial plan was going to Tsujiki Fish Market but when we reached Tsujikishido Station there was an announcement telling that the market was closed due to national public holiday but however the outer market was still open. Anyway, where we're planning to go there also actually, so leggo lah leggo! ;)

Emang dasar kita batu ya, instead of going directly to the outer market we still went to see the fish market itself. Of course it was closed at said tapi kan seenggaknya udah pernah liat dari luar yak! HOHOHO ...

So shall we start our street food galore journey?!

Telor! Tamago! It was the first thing that we bought there without knowing actually what it was in the first place. Saya liat rame terus kayaknya menarik ya saya beli aja! Pas makan oh ternyata si Tamago. There were about 4 or 5 stalls selling the same item but some has longer queue than the other but in my opinion they should taste similar. I chose the first stall at the market and it cost us 100 Yen for this fluffy Japanese rolled omelette. Oishi!!

Next in line, daging kukus enak si aunty! HAHAHA .. We had no idea about the name was but when we saw those steamed mince meat, we drooled! I know the picture is a bit blur tapi tetep saya pajang karena ini enyak enyak enyak! She was selling this gigantic siomay, just let's call it that way for 150 Yen each. Ujan - ujan makan yang anget - anget kayak gini tuh rasanya nom nom nom amat sangat. Super oishi!!

Along the alley you'll see different types of seafood from scallop to prawn, oyster, squid, you name it! As you can see our next treat were this two, grilled prawn and squid that cost us 400 Yen each and to be honest it's too salty!! If you're planning to go here, you can take picture but skip buying it. No oishi :(

These are the common view when we exploring this place. Basically street food! Street seafood! Karena tujuan kita ke sana cuma lebih ke arah liat - liat dan jajan - jajan jadi kita ga beli terlalu banyak macem makanan, eh saya sempet khilaf sih! Kacau terus nyesel! I bought a grilled scallop with sea urchin for 1000 Yen! I know, I know! Please judge me!!! Kalo kalian tipe laper mata kayak saya mending bilang sama yang pergi bareng buat pegangin dompetnya sementara, beneran deh!!

Jadi ceritanya kita udah dua kali ngelewatin si grilled scallop dan saya antara pengen dan ga pengen cuma koq ya harganya 1000 Yen, padahal dapetnya cuma satu tusuk isi dua biji doank. Yup, akhirnya beli dan gimana rasanya Gill?! Buat saya lumayan enak tapi kalo dapetnya lebih banyak pasti lebih enak, tapi Abang ga suka, ga ketelen sama dia karena basically doi ga terlalu doyan scallop juga dan rasanya masih "mentah" menurut doi. Jadi oishi apa engga?! Umh, lumayan oishi! HAHAHA

"Gee, kalo kamu boleh ngulang ke sini lagi apa yang kamu mau beli?"
"Si telor udah pasti! Daging si tante tuh! Mungkin beli banyakan!"
"Si grilled scallop?"
"Engga! Beli siomay si tante lagi aja seorang dua atau tiga HAHAHA !"
"Ya bagus, setuju!!!"

PS: Saya berjanji tidak akan kalap lagi! ;)
